Every August Mr. Kingsbury delivered baked goods to the American Legion Auxiliary Gilmanton Unit 102 at Old Home Day. His daughter had baked them for the Unit to add to their bake sale, raising funds to support Veterans. He also took an interest in the Sawyer Lake Cemetery near his home, keeping an eye on the site and the Town apprised of any problems that arose. He was a kind, thoughtful, civic-minded individual and we miss seeing and chatting with him. Sincere sympathies to his family. American Legion Auxiliary Unit 102 and the Gilmanton Cemetery Trustees

I'm going to miss Old Pa K, he was an icon on the lake, and an acquaintance and a friend for over 50 years. Hopefully he's now reunited with Ma and they are sitting somewhere in the great beyond watching reruns of Matlock. JSA
