Anna “Nan” Pecorelli (nee Cullen) 83, of Medfield, Massachusetts was a loving and doting wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, sister and friend. She passed in perfect peace on April 22, 2022.
Anna was the sixth of eight children born to Peter Cullen and Margaret Cullen (nee Barry) on May 11,1938. After graduating nursing school in Dublin Ireland, Anna came to America to practice nursing at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in 1964. It was there she met the love of her life, Francisco “Frank”
Pecorelli of Holguin, Cuba. They married that same year, going on to have two children: Rosanna Marie and Elizabeth Frances.
Anna continued her career as a nurse in both the hospital setting and private duty. Anna was a vivacious and elegant woman with a mischievous sense of humor and a love for interior design and shopping, especially antiques. She enjoyed painting, visiting the ocean and had an abiding love for her “swirlies”
(soft serve vanilla ice cream cones).
Anna was Roman Catholic and beyond all her outstanding qualities, Anna’s faith and devotion were paramount. She founded the Road to Calvary prayer group which she led for over 30 years. Her faith was steadfast and unwavering. She was a comfort to hundreds of people over the years, even up until her death.
Anna is predeceased by her loving husband Frank Pecorelli and survived by her daughters Rosanna and Elizabeth, as well as her loving son-in-law Joseph Del Guidice whom she regarded as her own son, and her grandson Joseph who was her dearest treasure.
