Over 30 years ago my parents rented a sweet little house on South Street in Medfield from Barbara. What followed was an incredible lifelong friendship. She was a fantastic combination of fierce independence - chopping her own firewood into her nineties - and femininity as she set the table for tea with the most delicate tea cups. A great town historian, she loved to spend hours telling me stories about the Medfield of years past. A true gardener, my passion is what it is today because of those first seeds she taught me to plant. I am so grateful to have had her in my life.
I will forever miss you Barbara but I will treasure all that you have taught me. I love you. Rest In Peace.
