"Mrs. Miff" - as my daughter, Isobel, used to call her when she was little - was a kind person of many talents.
She read to my children until she was hoarse, and Barbara was especially kind and tender with both Ashford and Isobel.

She was hoot too, recounting early days in Medfield and what was happening around town.

Raised in Rye, NH, to me it was like having someone from my tribe close by.

With Sincere Sympathy to Al and "the boys" -

In memory of a life so beautifully lived… a heart so deeply loved.

Those we love don’t go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Rest in Peace dear Mother.
Your loving son, Charles.
