Obituary for Regina Jacobson

Regina  Jacobson
Regina Jacobson died peacefully on Saturday July 29, 2017 at her home in Medway surrounded by her loving family. She was 80.
Regina was the loving daughter of the late Leo F. and Catherine (Malone) O'Brien. She was raised in Charlestown and went to High School in the North End, and earned her Bachelor's Degree from Boston State Teachers College. Regina was an Elementary School Teacher for more than 30 years, many years spent in the City of Waltham school system.
An avid sports fan, Regina enjoyed cheering for her favorite Boston teams. She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Regina and her husband Carl traveled extensively around the world, and visited many wonderful countries, and these were some of her most cherished memories.
Regina was the beloved wife of Carl Martin Jacobson, loving mother of Gregory Jacobson and his wife Alison of Wilton, CT, Brien Jacobson and his wife Catharine of Seattle, WA, Michele Beath and her husband Dan of Medfield, Deidre Dillon and her husband Jim of Medfield. Sister of Mary Ryan of Plymouth, John J. O'Brien of Needham, Bill O'Brien of Barnstable, Leo O'Brien of Burbank, CA, Kathryn Quirk of Darien, CT, Patricia O'Brien of CA and Thomas O'Brien of Reno, NV. Also survived by grandchildren Sean, Colby, Emma, Wyatt, Patrick, Hugh, Carter and Paige.
There will be a private service at Bourne Nat. Cemetery.
