Dorothy Claire Crump died peacefully Friday July 20, 2018 at the Thomas Upham House in Medfield. She was 90.
Raised and educated through the Roslindale School system, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Esmerelda (Carney) Howard.
Dorothy and her late husband Herbert were married in 1949 and settled in Medfield in 1955
Dorothy was employed by Babson College in the school of Accounting.
After retiring, she volunteered much of her time to the Medfield Town Hall. She was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Church and the Catholic Daughters of America.
Dorothy enjoyed vacationing on Cape Cod with her grandchildren and neighbors. She will be remembered as a caring and loving person and for her great sense of humor.
Dorothy was the loving mother of Kathleen Marks, Elaine Perkins and her husband Clayton, Karen Rochat and her husband Geoffrey, Richard Crump, Bernadette Suzedell and her husband Eugene and the late Joseph Crump. She was the sister of the late Mary Stimpson. Also survived by 13 grand and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be Wed July 25th 11:30am at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 133 Spring St, Medfield. Burial to follow at Vine Lake Cemetery. Visiting hrs will be 9:30-11am Wed at the Roberts Mitchell Caruso FH, 15 Miller St, Medfield.
Donations may be made in Dorothy's name to St. Edward the Confessor Church.
