On Tuesday October 15, 2019, Catherine Anne Pray (Duncan), loving wife and mother of two passed away at the age of 68. Cathy was born in Gardner, MA in 1951 and worked as a regional blood drive manager for the Red Cross for 35 years while supporting her husband’s military career. Cathy married Bob Pray of Goshen Ohio on July 21st, 1973 and they raised two sons. Cathy loved animals and was known to her friends as the “dog whisperer.” In retirement she was an avid gardener, loved to cook new recipes, and took great pride in the spoiling of her grandchildren be they human or dog. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, hockey mom attitude when it was called for, and remarkable skill for expertly navigating any crisis with a cool head. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Thelma Duncan. She is survived by her husband Bob, sons Chris and Cory, daughters-in-law Courtney and Tara, grandchildren Chelsea and Quinn, sister Cindy Bradley (Duncan), aunt Elizabeth Duncan, cousins Robert Duncan, Deborah Duncan, Kathleen Duncan, David Duncan, Eileen Duncan, (cousin and Godchild) Diahann Duncan, nieces Kelly, Tori, Gabbi, nephew Ian, sister-in-law Julie, grandchild dog Liberty, and her current rescue hound Homer.
