AYLWARD, Dorothy L. Age 81, a long-time resident of Medfield, unexpectedly in late January. Daughter of the late Mary E. (Mullen) and Thomas L. of Medfield. Dorothy was born in Boston in 1937, lived in Wrentham, and moved to Medfield in 1944. She was a graduate of the high school class of 1955 and a 1959 Graduate of St. Regis College. Dorothy was a long-time employee of Liberty Mutual Insurance in Boston. She is survived by her sister Claire E. (Aylward) Hutchins of Blackstone and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven sisters and brothers: Mary F. (Aylward) Sweeney of Raymond, New Hampshire; Charles T. Aylward of Melrose; Elizabeth A. (Aylward) Heuklom of Medway; Virginia T. (Aylward) Leon of Westwood, Helen M. (Aylward) Matthews of Millis; Thomas L. Aylward, Jr. of Medfield, and Catherine J. (Aylward) Stewart of Sacramento, California. A memorial service will be celebrated at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 133 Spring St. Medfield MA 02052, on Friday May 24, 2019 at 10AM, followed by burial at Vine Lake Cemetery. Visiting will be at Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral; Home, 15 Miller St. Medfield MA 02052 the 2 hours preceding from 8AM until 10AM.
