Obituary for E. Peter Bosse
E. Peter Bosse, 88, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
He resided in Millis, MA for the last 54 years
He was born in Old Town, ME on July 30, 1934, to Joseph and Alice (Grant) Bosse and brother to the late Robert Bosse of Rutland, MA and the late Raymond Bosse of Holden, ME. He graduated from John the Baptist High school in Bangor and the University of Maine in Orono. He explored religious life and served in the US Army Reserve. He worked his entire career for Kemper Insurance as a claims adjuster, claims manager and an attorney until his retirement.
Peter was involved with the Girl Scouts, the Boy Scouts, St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, and was a long-time member of the Millis Lions Club.
He is predeceased by his wife Natalie (Lukes) Bosse of 56 years.
He is survived by his daughter Rosemarie and son in law Frederick Daley of Cocolalla, ID; his daughter Nannette and son in law Thomas Falbo of Eau Claire, WI; his son Peter and daughter in law Vikki Bosse of Walpole, MA and his son Gary Bosse of Millis, MA,
along with twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to The Friends of Millis, 900 Main St. Millis, MA 02054 which will support the Millis Council on Aging Senior Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 82 Exchange St., Millis, MA 02054 on Friday, August 26, 2022, at 11 AM followed by interment at Prospect Hill Cemetery of Millis. Visiting Hours will be the evening before, Thursday, August 25 at Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 90 Curve St., MILLIS, MA 02054 from 5 PM until 7 PM.
