Obituary for Eileen V Alley
Eileen Alley of Medfield, January 5, 2020 at age 102, She died peacefully with her daughter Theresa by her side. Eileen was born in Cambridge and grew up in Needham. She left work to marry, move to Medfield, and raise her family. She returned to The Phone Company in 1966, and retired in 1982 with 27 years of service.
An active member of the community, Eileen was a Cub Scout Den Mother, faithful parishioner of St. Edward's Church, bowling team member and volunteered at Medfield State Hospital for many years.
After retirement, she danced every Friday Night for years.
She knitted, crocheted and quilted well into her nineties.
She was the widow of the late William Alley, and mother of the late Susan Alley.
She leaves one daughter. Terry Fischer of Medway, four sons: Stephen of Great Falls, MT, Denis of Standish, ME, Colin of Ctr. Barnstead, NH and Edward of Hudson, MA, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, twenty nerces and nephews and innumerable friends.
She will be missed by all.
