Elaine Pamela Theodos (“Pammy”) 76 of Dover, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 15th, 2019 with her family by her side after a valiant battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife for 57 years to Louis Theodos, her high school sweet heart.
She was born on January 18th, 1943, in Phoenix, Arizona and while growing up she lived in San Diego, CA, and Springfield, MO, before moving to Brookline, MA where she attended Brookline High School and graduated in1961. After graduating from Brookline High School, she attended Boston University.
She had a heart of gold and a love for children and was a pre-school teacher for over 25 years. She taught at the Soupy Owl Family Day Care, and Child Development Center both in Dover, as well as the Children’s Way in Wayland.
She was a longtime resident of Dover for 45 years and very active in the community where she was a member of the Dover COA and Medfield COA where she enjoyed meeting people in the community, volunteering, taking classes such as yoga, water aerobics, card designing, and playing the ukulele. She also had a love for art, music, history, decorating, gardening, bird watching, and poetry. One of her most favorite things to do was entertaining family and friends in her home and she always loved a celebration. She had a great sense of humor, always liked a good joke, loved to laugh, and was very fun-loving.
Besides her husband, she leaves behind three daughters and a son-in-law. Kristy and Jennifer Theodos of Dover, MA, Denise Theodos Guzzetti, and son-in-law Josh Guzzetti of Easton, MA; Also, brother-in-law Paul Theodos of Woburn, sister-in-law Diane Theodos of Tewksbury and several nieces and nephews. In addition, she leaves behind her sweet kitty cats “Buttons” and “Daisy” whom she adored.
Visiting hours will be held at the Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home,15 Miller Street, Medfield, MA 02052 on Monday, July 22ndfrom 10 am-12pm followed by the burial at the Highland Cemetery, in Dover, MA. Relatives and friends kindly invited. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Pammy’s name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society www.lls.org.
