Obituary for Eugene F Gallagher
Eugene F. Gallagher, Korean War Navy veteran, of Walpole, MA (formerly 40 year resident of Medfield, MA), passed suddenly at the age of 87 surrounded by his family, on February 9, 2019, after battling kidney disease.
He was born on May 4, 1931 in Buffalo, New York, and was the son of Hugh Patrick Gallagher (of Ireland).
Eugene is survived by his loving children, Kevin Gallagher and his wife Lisa (of Bellingham), Terrie Piccirilli (of Mansfield), and Kathy Gorman (of Walpole); his beloved granddaughter Stephanie (Piccirilli) Amato and her husband Mike; his beloved grandson J.J. Gorman; his brother Bill Tilton (of Lockport, NY); and many loving relatives (of Lockport, NY).
Mr. Gallagher will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Roxane (Loud) Gallagher (who passed June 25, 2013).
Due to Eugene's wishes, there will be no wake or funeral services. A private burial ceremony for the family will take place at the Vine Lake Cemetery in Medfield.
