Obituary for Francisco Pecorelli

Francisco “Frank” Galan Pecorelli, 81, of Medfield, Massachusetts passed away on January 5, 2021 with his daughters by his side, after a brief battle with lung cancer.

Frank was born on August 25, 1939 to Guiseppe and Rosa Pecorelli in Holguin, Cuba. He graduated from Howie Academy in Florida before immigrating to Miami in 1962. Shortly after, he moved to Boston, Massachusetts where he met and married the love of his life, Anna “Nan” Cullen from New Ross, Ireland. He continued his education and went on to become the Director of Respiratory Therapy at Tufts New England Medical Center for 25 years. After retiring, he started his own business repairing oxygen equipment for numerous hospitals in the New England area.

In 1964, he met Anna and they wed that same year, going on to have two children, Rosanna Marie and Elizabeth Frances. Frank was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, and was the cornerstone of his family. His love was unconditional, his humor infectious, his generosity unparalleled.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Anna, his daughters Rosanna and Elizbeth, as well as his loving son in law Joseph DelGuidice, whom he regarded as his own son, and his grandson Joseph Francisco, who was the apple of his eye. He was also a father figure to his daughter’s closest friends, as well as his nieces and nephews in Ireland. He will be forever missed, but his legacy will live on through all of us.
Services will be private.
