Obituary for Jacqueline Ann Anderson (Weston)
Jacqueline (Weston) Anderson age 86 died unexpectedly Friday February 24, 2023 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston with her husband and daughter at her side.
Born in Cohasset, raised in Carver, she was a long time Millis resident. She is pre-deceased by her parents Homer and Celia Weston. Jackie was the beloved wife of 64 years to George Anderson and loving mother to her daughter Lauren (Anderson) Forbes of Medway and her son Scott Anderson of Carver. She was the proud grandmother (Grammie) to her 5 grandchildren, Weston Forbes, Cameron Forbes, Garrett Forbes, Matthew Anderson and Meghan Anderson. She is survived by her brother Gary Weston and his wife Cheryl of Carver, her brother Mark Weston of Carver and brother-in-law Frank Anderson and his wife Sally. She is predeceased by her sisters- in- law Patricia Weston, Nancy Weston and Roberta Anderson.
Until her retirement, Jackie was the Administrative Assistant to the Town Administrator in Millis. She was an avid reader, a talented seamstress and loved spending time in her flower gardens. She had a large circle of friends and extended family that she enjoyed spending time with. Her husband George was devoted to her daily care and will miss her dearly as will her family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday March 5th from 4-7pm at the Robert Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 90 Curve Street, Millis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday March 6 at 10AM at St. Jude Church, 86 Main Street, Norfolk followed by a family burial at 2:30 at the Union Cemetery, 29 South Main Street, Carver.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jackie’s memory may be made to the Millis Ambulance Fund, 885 Main Street, Millis, Massachusetts 02054 or to the Homer F. Weston Memorial Scholarship c/o Carver Firefighters Association, P.O. Box 710, Carver, Massachusetts 02330.
