James Joseph “Jimmy” Caruso, age 60, passed away peacefully on September 26,2022 in New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina with family by his side.

Jimmy was born on December 23, 1961 to his late father Alfonse "Al" Caruso and his mother Margaret "Peggy" Caruso in Brookline, Massachusetts. He grew up in Medfield,
Massachusetts with his parents and brothers David and Thomas "Tommy" Caruso.
Jimmy worked alongside his brother and father at Raytheon for a number of years. To unwind, he enjoyed skiing, golfing, and fishing alongside his friends and family.

In 1992, Jimmy met his lovely wife Janette Caruso and on May 8, 1998 they were married. Not long after they conceived their only child Jessica Caruso on November 3, 1999.
Jimmy and Jessica grew extremely close and did absolutely everything together. He showed her off with pride and they still held their bond until the day he passed.

In 2014, Jimmy, Janette, and Jessica decided that they would move to North Carolina to prepare for early retirement and embark on a new adventure together.
There he gained various friends that made his new home even more of a peaceful and loving place. In his retirement he enjoyed golfing, card playing, and pool with his friends and daughter.


Everyone that knew Jimmy would agree, it was hard not to enjoy his humorous and giving personality. He did all he could for not only his blood family, but those surrounding who he considered just like family. Jimmy was a devoted husband, son, friend, and especially father. His unexpected passing devastates many and he will be greatly missed.


Visitation will be at Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home in Medfield, MA (15 Miller Street, Medfield MA). It will be on Friday, October 14th, 2022 from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
Jimmy left his mark in this world and will be missed dearly, but never forgotten.
