Obituary for Jenifer Day Gadsby (Sikora)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jenifer (Sikora) Day Gadsby, 78, of Norwood, MA. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 26th, 2023 following an illness of lung cancer and Alzheimer's.
Jenifer was the sixth of nine children raised by her late parents, Chester and Helen (Hogardt) Sikora of Dedham, MA. She spent the majority of her time in Norwood, MA where she raised three children and married her late husband, Richard Gadsby. She worked for Barnstead and then Faye Paper until retirement.
She especially loved spending time with her friends and family. She was an avid reader and animal lover who could always be found feeding birds and any stray cats that crossed her path.
She is survived by her daughter, April Kelly and her husband Walter, her two sons Thomas Day II, Jeremy Day and his wife Melissa, her siblings Judi Garlick, Joyce Crowley, Jackie Lawson Rediker and Jean Sikora Giuggio, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings Jan Sikora, Jane V. Sikora, Jeremy Sikora, and Joan Burdell.
Cremation is under the direction of Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home (www.robertsmitchellcaruso.com)15 Miller Street Medfield, MA.
