Obituary for Joan Iafolla
Joan Iafolla, 81, a resident of Medfield, Massachusetts passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
Born in Gloversville, New York on May 25, 1941 and raised in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Following her graduation from Pittsfield High School she attended Nursing School at Pittsfield Hospital. She Began her career in nursing at Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick, Massachusetts and dedicated her life to taking care of others for over 35 years.
Her passions included traveling, cooking, reading, and working on jigsaw puzzles. Most important was her family and the valuable time she spent with her beautiful grandchildren. Joan valued her breakfast and lunch dates with friends and celebrating annual holiday family traditions.
In addition to her husband Eric of 59 years, she is survived by her daughters Kimberly Clark and husband James of Milford; and Brenda Abruzzi and husband Nick of Milford. Her grandchildren Jason Clark, Kari Clark, and Eric Abruzzi. She was preceded in death by her son Brian Iafolla.
Family and friends will honor and remember Joan’s life by gathering for calling hours in Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 15 Miller Street Medfield from 10:00 a.m. – Noon on Friday, December 16, 2022. Burial will take place at Vine Lake Cemetery following a brief prayer service.
