Obituary for John Maloney
John Patrick Maloney, 54, silently and courageously fought cancer and sadly passed on July 7, 2021. Born on Christmas day 1966 to the late Janet Linton Maloney (Foley) and the late James Francis Maloney, Sr.
As a lifelong resident of Medfield, John was well known and liked by all. He was a man of few words, but always had a wave and a smile. John was an avid local sports fan, loved attending Red Sox games, and especially enjoyed his many travels with Vickie to the beach, Maine, and Ireland. John was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He was employed by McKechnie Associates for the last ten years and was previously a long-time employee of A.H. Harris & Sons, Inc.John is survived by his cherished daughter, Casey Maloney of Millis and his soulmate, Victoria Tray Sullivan of Medfield. John was recently predeceased by his brother, James Maloney, Jr.
He is also survived by his sister, Joan Maloney of Chelsea, his brother Jeffrey Maloney and his wife Jodee of Franklin, his sister Judi and her husband Pedro Rivas of Las Vegas, and many nieces and nephews.Those close to John know how he loved his milk, so we raise a glass of milk to John... “May the Irish hills caress you.
