Obituary for Judith C. Harris (Cogswell)
Long time resident of Medfield, MA, passed away late Saturday night under hospice care in Lincoln, MA. Judy was the beloved wife of Patrick S. Harris, and daughter of the late George and Lucy (Tomaso) Cogswell.
Judy was a member of the Medfield Auxiliary Police, and she was recognized for her work as a “HAM” radio operator for the Civil Defense Service.
Judy loved her yard, which she called a garden, and which over the years she had turned into a “bird sanctuary”.
She was the devoted sister of Caroline M. Cohen and her husband Marvin of Franklin MA, Ruth C. Garrett of Southbury CT, Lucille M. Farrar and her husband Richard of Forestdale MA, and Virginia L. Bagge of Lakeland FL. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she loved.
All are invited to a Memorial Service at Vine Lake Cemetery, 625 Main St. Medfield, MA 02052 in Monday, August 17, 2020, at 11:00 AM.
