POWER, Justin F., a lifelong resident of Millis, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on June 26, 2020, at the age of 90. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marie (DiGiandomenico) Power and his children, Linda Greene and her husband Jim, of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, Dianne Mascis and her husband Philip, of Hancock, New Hampshire and Laura Guccione and her husband Gary, of Millis, Massachusetts. He was predeceased by his son Robert Power of Hudson, Massachusetts. He was “Papa” to his grandchildren, Christine Uvezian, Andrew Uvezian and his partner Rachel Palin, Paul Mascis, Courtney (Mascis) Piscia and her husband Austin, Gina Guccione and Nicholas Guccione,and his great-grandchildren Brianna Matheson, Brittney Matheson, Braelyn Matheson and Cheyanne Uvezian. He was the son of the late John and Mildred (Frink) Power, and the brother of John Power of Rangeley, Maine, and the late Robert Power of Medway, Massachusetts. Justin graduated from Millis High School in 1950 with a graduating class of only 15 students. He served in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1954, during the Korean war. After serving in the Navy he worked at the Herman Shoe Company in Millis for many years. Thereafter, he worked for several local companies in different capacities. Justin enjoyed sharing Navy stories and stories about his life growing up in Millis. He loved being near the ocean and watching the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots. He had a great appreciation for automobiles and always kept his cars in pristine condition. When his children visited, he would never fail to ask how the car was running and if they had checked the oil recently. In his younger years, he spent a lot of time fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors with his two brothers. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His sense of humor was one of his greatest qualities and you could always count on him for a few good laughs. He will be greatly missed by his entire family.
