Obituary for Kenneth Tiernan
Kenneth R Tiernan died peacefully Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Norwood Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was 79.
Formerly of Bellingham, he was the son of the late Raymond and Bernice (Sawatski) Tiernan.
Ken served with the United States Air Force in 1957 and was honorably discharged in 1965.
Ken was a talented musician, gardener, fisherman and loved animals. He was a member of the Millis Am Vets and Millis VFW.
He was the beloved husband of Joan (Geshel) Tiernan, father of Theresa Tiernan of Medway, Stephen Tiernan of Oceanside, CA, Patrick Tiernan of Braintree and Mary Tiernan of Framingham. Brother of the late Ronald Tiernan. He is also survived by 7 grand children.
Funeral Mass will be Friday December 28th 10:30 at St Thomas the Apostle Church, 111 Exchange St, Millis. Visiting hours will be Thursday 3-7 at the Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 15 Miller St, Medfield. Burial will be at a later Date.
