Lawrence had a passion for his family and was always happy to be surrounded by them especially at his home on the Cape; and even at age 92 could be found tending the yard and playing on the floor with his great grandson. He loved golf, a game of cribbage and playing the piano. He is remembered by all who loved him and knew him for his kind heart, dry wit and love of the Bruins.
