On December 22, 2020 Leonard Haigh passed away peacefully under the care of hospice. Leonard was born on January 17, 1932 to Elisabeth and Charles Haigh of Medfield. Leonard lived such a full and happy life. He excelled in basketball at Medfield High School, graduated from BU with an Associate degree in business, served in the army during the Korean War, married his beloved wife Beverly on May 10, 1958, and enjoyed his many years working as a communications technician with New England Telephone. He was a man of honor with a strong work ethic. After accepting an early retirement from the phone company, he worked as a lineman until he was 70. Len enjoyed being active as an American Legion member, playing horseshoes, working around his house, and spending time with family. He will be sorely missed. Len is predeceased by his loving son-in-law Harry S. Bodozian, and is survived by his wife Beverly, his children Kim, Mark, and Paul along with Paul’s loving wife Candy. He leaves 7 grandchildren: Harry L. and Angela Bodozian, Chelsea and Corey Haigh, and Nick, Tim, and Luke Haigh. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date.
