Born and raised in New Jersey, Les grew up working on his parents’ (Leslie Sr. and Bertha Ross) farm where he developed his love of the outdoors and learned how to fix almost anything. Moving to Massachusetts after his retirement, he could frequently be found working in his yard or on various home projects. He was devoted to his family and would do anything for them. Les was old school. He believed in hard work, honesty and fairness, instilling these values in his children.

He will be greatly missed by his surviving family: his wife Dorothy Ann and his daughter Betsy, his son Les and his wife Diana, his niece Valarie Woortman and her husband Bob, his great niece Ashley Pepe, her husband Ryan and their son Nico, and his nephews Dale Mamich and Stephen Michael Mamich, his wife Gerry and their daughter Michelle.

There will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his memory to your favorite charity.
