Formerly of Brighton and West Roxbury, passed away at her daughter’s home in Millis on April 9, 2021. She was 95 years old. Marjorie was born in 1926 to John R. Sweeney, Sr. and Anne (Herd) Sweeney. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Hacunda, and the devoted mother of Richard Hacunda and his wife Martha of Walpole, Jo-Ann Rogers and her husband Donald of Millis, and the proud grandmother of Matthew Rogers and his fiancée Mary D’Alessio of NYC and NH. Marjorie is survived by her sister Jean McGrath and the late Robert McGrath of Bedford, her brother John R. Sweeney, Jr. of Tucson, AZ, and her sister Clare Maher and her husband Francis of Rockland, and many-many, well-loved nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Mass at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 133 Spring St., Medfield, MA 02052, on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 10:30 AM followed immediately by burial at Vine Lake Cemetery.
