Obituary for Mary T. Fortier (Sullivan)
Mary Fortier of Millis Ma passed away surrounded by her family on Monday January 16,2023.
Born on November 18, 1932 in Roslindale Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Daniel and Barbara Sullivan. Mary worked as an executive assistant to A. Raymond Tye of United Liquors for over 40 years. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her happiest times were spent with her family. She was a devoted friend to all that had the privilege of knowing her. Preceded in death by her sons Kevin and Richard Fortier and her daughter Leslie Gallagher. Mary is survived by her husband Richard Fortier of Millis, her daughter Karen Carlson of Millis and her daughter Denise Krohn of Post Falls Idaho. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Joan and John Murphy of Falmouth, MA. Mary is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, Rebecca Shubert, Danielle, Ryan and Lauren , Gallagher, James and Christopher Gallagher, Megan Camacho and Kevin Fortier, Brittany Leduc, Alanna Plant and Daniel Gourley. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 19 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with a noontime prayer service at Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 90 Curve Street, Millis, MA 02054 with burial following immediately at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Millis, MA. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer's Association.
