Michael G. Karafotias, 68, passed February 12th surrounded by family after a period of failing health. Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Brides) Karafotias. Mike was such a nice person, I was always happy to see him whether it was work related or seeing him in the kitchen or hallways of Tufts Health Plan. My deepest sympathy to his family..

What a great and memorable guy he was. I had many fun exchanges with him over the years-although we did not work directly together his department was near mine and I can still hear his "How'ya do-in" when he saw me. He always spoke about Keri and I so I enjoyed meeting her with him when we ran into each other at the Big Y. I will always remember him with a smile.

Mike was a great friend of mine and co-worker at Tufts Health Plan for over 10 years. He was funny, a great story teller and kind to all he came across. I will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace.
