Mike was my buddy in college, one of the reasons I graduated. He loved Karen from the day they set eyes on each other. I remember snipe hunting in Maine, studying calculus in the Bridgewater State College Library, he was always putting "one over on us"! Oh Mike, I you helped me more than I could ever say, and never got the chance to really tell you after all these years. I will always remember you with love in my heart.

Mike was exceptionally sharp but also had a huge heart. What I remember most is the way he walked into a room - he charged into the room, his mind bouncing from item to item, but at any moment he would look up and give an amazing grin or witty comment.

I met Mike over 5 years ago and worked on many financings with him. He was a very shrewd businessman but fair in his dealings. I especially enjoyed hanging out with him over dinner and, of course, a scotch or two. He loved his beloved Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins, but I believe he enjoyed being with people most. He had a sharp wit but a compassionate heart and I will miss his friendship greatly. Rest In Peace my friend!

I always loved going to visit my cousins in Roxbury, Mike always reminded me of Uncle Joe! Good guy who will be missed by many!

Mike was a caring man who genuinely loved his family and friends. He was especially proud of his brother. Mike created “community” amongst people, and brought joy into what might otherwise be considered just ordinary or even mundane circumstances. Mike was a brilliant, innovative, tireless, and thoughtful professional who earned the respect of his colleagues and of his counterparties in business dealings. I first met and worked with Mike in the mid-90’s on a project financing opportunity, and then about 10 years later had the chance to gain Mike’s counsel addressing the opportunities of our company. We later were fortunate to have Mike join as our CFO, and in the ensuing 10+ years he was instrumental in the company’s growth and maturation. I’m so very sad Mike has left us — a still-young man with incredible knowledge, experience, and intellect that could have been contributed to any number of other people and enterprises. But most of all I am sad that I won’t get another chance in this life to share time with him, to laugh with him, or to once again hear from him of the greatness of the Red Sox and Patriots.
