Obituary for Nancy Annette Mailing (Coburn)
Of Medfield, and recently of Foxboro, passed away on August 10, 2022 while in care at Newton, MA. She was 95 years old.
Nancy was born on July 6, 1927 to the late Donald A. and Blanche C. (Millard) Coburn, and was a 1945 graduate of Newton High School.
She was a homemaker; caring for her family most of her life. She was an avid quilter, and expert seamstress, and an active member of the Church of the Advent in Medfield.
She was the wife of the late Donald Mailing. Nancy was sadly predeceased by her sons: John R. Weir III, Paul S. Weir, David Allen Weir, and daughter in-law Ingrid Schmit, but is survived by her daughter Deborah L. Weir as well her other daughters in-law Kathy Lee and Maggie Conger.
She was the proud grandmother of Daniel C. Weir, Gregory P. Weir, John R. Weir IV, Marion E. Weir, Joseph Van Brocklin, and Allison N. Weir, and an amazing great grandmother of 17.
Nancy was also preceded in death by her sisters Rita Harlem and Ruth Maguire, and her brothers Paul O. Coburn and Frederick L. Coburn.
Visiting hours will be observed on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 15 Miler St., Medfield, MA 02052 followed immediately by a Graveside Committal Service at Vine Lake Cemetery, Medfield.
