Obituary for Pauline Janet Hogg

Beloved Wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Pauline J. Hogg passed away peacefully at home with her daughter by her side on April 21st, 2023, at the age of 91. That same day would have been her deceased husband Gordon's 93rd birthday.

Pauline was born in Boston and grew up in Dedham, MA. She was raised by her parents, the late James and Margaret Robertson. She is pre-deceased by her brothers, Edward DeRoche and Bim Robertson and her sisters Alice Simpson and Peggy Hailer.

Pauline met her husband Gordon through friends and family involved with the Scottish Highland Band. The were married in 1954 where they moved to Westboro, MA and finally to Medfield, MA where they resided for 60 years.

Pauline worked at the Needham Bank for over 30 years where she cheerfully greeted all the customers. She enjoyed hosting parties at their home over the years. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and taking trips with her husband.

She is survived by her children, Stephen Hogg and his wife Kathy in CO, Edward Hogg in VA, Susan Parker in SC, Deborah Dauphinee and her husband Rusty of Medfield, MA, and Gordon Hogg of CO. In addition, "Mimi" leaves behind her grandchildren, Daniel Hogg, Laura Hogg and her significant other Andy, Katie Parker, Jessica Cadigan and her husband Mike, Kris Hogg, Kellie Hogg, Emma Dauphinee and Tyler Hogg. She also leaves behind two great grandchildren, Leah and Crew.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Eileen DeSorgher whose friendship, caring, and devotion to our mother cannot be expressed enough. Eileen took our mother out to many lunch dates where they both laughed and enjoyed each other's company. The family would also like to thank the Metro West Homecare and Hospice staff for their wonderful and caring support towards our mother.
Services will be private and a Celebration of Pauline's Life to be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America
