Walking every morning with Bob was always an adventure. His knowledge of Medfield and the historical facts regarding the area were endless. Joke telling, political discussions and local news stories were a routine discussions on our daily walks around the hospital. His love for reading was paramount. He could read 3 newspapers and a book a day! I am sadden he will not be hear physically but I know he will continue to walk with us in spirit. Bob saying to me when someone would pass is "he let go of the rope" - well Bob your presence was so big you let go of a cable!! RIP my friend. I will keep Gaeri and Bob's family in my thoughts and prayers.

I walked with Bob and his dog Hazel at the Medfield State Hospital. Both Bob and Hazel were well known and loved. We will miss Bob's stories, history lessons and many jokes. My condolences to Geari and rest of his family.

Bob was a friend of mine since grammar school in Medfield. For many years Bob and I would talk about people that we knew during the 50tds-60tds. We would share ware they were living. He and I were the last people living in medfield. I am very sorry for your loss . May he Rest In Peace Amen.

I only met Bob a few years ago walking dogs at Medfield State Hospital but it was as though i had known him a lifetime. We enjoyed long forgotten poems, history and walking dogs slowly. And also his great sense of human which was not always ready for prime time. Lynne and I send our best to Gerry and the unforgettable pup, Hazel. Keep them laughing, Bob.
