We are immeasurably saddened after hearing of Bob’s death. Bob was a wonderful, kind, humble person and lived his life trying to help those around him. We know what a wonderful family man he was. Our time as neighbors – – walking through the pathway to each other‘s homes for the children to play or to socialize— will never be forgotten. We are hopeful that the memories of that gracious gentleman can sustain you, Sandy, as well as David and Katie during this grieving period and beyond.

I personally feel very lucky to have seen Bob a few months ago. He was hopeful and full of pride about your work, Sandy, and of the paths chosen by David and Katie. He so loved you all.

I will also remember Bob at our home a couple of years ago watching a championship fight. We all had a a great time that night and I laugh when I think He may have told me a “white lie” about the edibility of the stew/curry I had made. He and I laughed a lot that night.
