Obituary for Robert P. Ullenbruch
Passed away peacefully on March 31, 2023 at the age of 90.
He was the beloved husband of June (Feir) Ullenbruch who died in February.
Born in Buffalo, New York, he was the son of the late Norman, and Helen (Esser) Ullenbruch.
From 1952 until 1956, Bob served in the United States Air Force, based in New Mexico where he flew aircraft and received a National Defense Medal as well as a Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of the American Legion of Medway until it closed and was then welcomed into Franklin’s Post 75.
Bob had a love for sports. He played minor league baseball in his day, loved the Yankees and the Buffalo Bills and rarely missed watching them. He was an avid golfer.
Bob worked for GTE, Government Systems for 35 years before retiring in 1993.
He leaves behind his sons Robert W. and wife Janice, David and wife Pamula, daughters Mary Luskin and husband Peter and Diane Basset and husband Scott. He was also the proud Grandpa of Christopher, Julie, Ashley, Joshua, and Jonathan, and Great Grandfather of Joshua, Alyson, and Gabriel.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Village Street, Medway, MA 02053 on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in his memory to: American Legion, Edward L. Grant post 75, 45 Main Street, P.O. Box 42, Franklin, MA 02038.
