Obituary for Stephen Joseph Walsh

With great sadness, the family of Stephen Joseph Walsh announces his peaceful passing on April 25, 2022 at the age of 67. He will be dearly missed by his daughter, Meghan; brothers William (Pamela), Kevin (Roberta), and Michael; sister, Jane (Arthur); and his ex-wife and continued friend, Janet Rayner. He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Stephen was predeceased by his son, Nevin; mother, Kathleen (Owen); father William; and beloved Brittany Dog, Haji. Stephen grew up in Medfield, Massachusetts and received an Associate’s degree in Radio from the New England School of Broadcasting. He began his career as a radio DJ with WJMQ in Norfolk and continued to share his love of music with others throughout his life. He moved with his family to Turner, Maine and spent many years as a flooring salesman. He was a dedicated Red Sox and Patriots fan and loved to ski and golf. A wake will be held at Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 15 Miller St., Medfield, MA 02052 on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM followed by a Memorial Service beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow immediately at Vine Lake Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Montello Heights Retirement Community for their care and compassion.
