Victoria L. Woo passed away on June 7, 2021 after battling Alzheimer’s for many years. She was born on November 9, 1946 in Honolulu, HI to Karen and Francis Tom. Her family moved to Massachusetts when she was young, and she lived here for the remainder of her life. Vicki graduated from Bouvé College with a Bachelor of Science and began teaching Physical Education. While she enjoyed all sports, both as a player and spectator, she had a special fondness for field hockey and lacrosse that she carried throughout her life. Vicki married Thomas G. Woo in 1970 and they have four children, Alison, Melissa, Gregory, and Michael, and six grandchildren. Vicki was devoted to raising her children and volunteering in the community. She was passionate about education, sports and scouting and enjoyed participating in all of these activities with her family. Due to the current pandemic, the family will be celebrating Vicki’s life in a private ceremony and will not hold a public service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please consider donations to one of these organizations:

I met Vicky through Medfield Girl Scouts back when she was the town’s registrar. I remember going to her house and her welcoming me into her living room. I recall commenting on the graduation pictures of her children and the pride she had telling me about each of them. I recall simply being in awe over the hundreds of registrations of girls all in piles in potential troops on her dining room table....back before the whole process became was an organized chaos and I eventually inherited the job - but as a shared position. Never did it feel to me as easy and seamless as Vicky made it appear! She was truly a wonderful woman and great, great role model to all who were fortunate enough to have known her. She will be missed by the many lives she touched. My condolences to you, Tom, and your lovely family. Peace be with Vicky! Tanya Thompson
