Virginia Mary Mezzanotte, 90, of Medfield, February 12, 2019. Beloved wife of deceased husband John. Mother of Debra Lee Phipps and her husband Michael of N. Attleborough, John L. Mezzanotte Jr. and his wife Susan of Stowe Me, and David R. Mezzanotteand his wife Kelli of Mansfield. Grandchildren Melanie, Michael, John, James, Jeff, Robert, Nicholas, Joseph and Ava. Great Grandchildren Liam, Olivia, Mirabelle, Owen and Dahlia. Predeceased by brothers Robert and Joseph McCarthy and sisters Helen Shackley, Barbara Keating and Katie Gray. Survived by her sisters Mary Wiley and husband (James), Maureen Kurtewicz and husband Peterand brother in-law Walter Shackley.
Virginia was a longtime residentof Medfield, graduating at Medfield High School and from Fisher College. She was a beautiful singer with the Ralph Ferris Choir. She also wasa talented seamstress and built acraft businesscalled Mockingbird Place.
Visiting hours Wednesday, February 20 from 9 –10:30 AM followed by a short service at the Roberts-Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 15 Miller Street, Medfield. Burial will follow at Vine Lake Cemetery, Medfield.
