Obituary for Virginian K Boggess (McLean)
Virginia K. Boggess, Age 98, died Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Dedham Health Care Nursing Center in Dedham with her daughter Irene by her side. She was born in Boston and lived in West Roxbury most of her life. Virginia was raised and educated in Roxbury and was the beloved wife of the late William Oliver Boggess who was retired from the U.S. Navy.
Virginia is survived by her son, William Oliver Boggess, Jr. and his wife Lenise, her daughter Virginia Barkas and husband Paul, and her daughter Irene Long and her partner Thomas King. She also has many grand and great grand children.
She will be buried with her husband at a later date in the military section of Mt. Hope Cemetery in Mattapan, MA.
