Obituary for William M. Capen
Died Monday, March 21, 2022 at the age of 89.
Born in Boston in 1932, he moved to Medfield in 1958 with his wife Dianne where they raised their 4 children.
Bill worked at Barry Controls in Waltham for over 20 years, and also at Schultz X-ray in Needham, and JetSpray in Norwood.
Bill was an avid sports fan and enjoyed hunting and camping. One of his best memories was a cross country trip with his wife Dianne, in their camper, all the way to Alaska and back.
Bill had a great sense of humor. He was very witty and people loved to be around him.
He was the husband of the late Dianne M. (Fallon) Capen.
He was predeceased by his daughters Marie and Maureen and his son William, Jr.
He is survived by his son Michael Capen and wife Sharon, daughter in-law Sandy Capen and fiancé John Kupiec, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and another on the way.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated for Bill at Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 15 Miller St., Medfield, MA 02052 on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, 11:30 AM followed by burial at Vine Lake Cemetery, Medfield. Visiting hours will precede the service, beginning at 10:00 AM.
