MacKay, Christopher J. of Norfolk, MA, formerly of Medfield, MA passed away on March 27, 2019.
Born in Norwood, MA on February 3, 1970 he was the son of Rita (Lambiase) MacKay and the late Edward MacKay. Father of Ian C. MacKay, Griffin C. MacKay and Caitlin E. MacKay all of Norfolk. Chris is also survived by his sister Wendy MacKay of Tampa, FL.
Chris worked for over 26 years at Comark Corporation/ Civiq Smartscapes as a Mechanical Designer.
Besides his children, Chris' greatest love was playing music with North Street. Joe, Tim and John were like his brothers. He had great times up at Kingdomfest, playing late nights in the basement and many kitchen acoustic jams.
Over the years, he loved riding the trails with Liam, Dan, Mike and Peter, going on countless adventures through the back woods and rough terrain. More than once he came back covered in mud with a variety of bumps and bruises but always went back for more.
Chris will always be remembered for his heart warming smile and kind spirit.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Oh dear god...where do I start...my deepest sympathy to Rita, Wendy, Jen, Ian, Griffin and Kate. He loved you all very much. Christopher...Chris...Littleman...my tenant moved in a few years ago and although I only knew a short time in his 49 years, he became a close friend during this time. We spent much time together and had many adventures. He told many stories of playing in the band. I was able to see him play bass guitar at TT's in Walpole. He loved his children to the moon and back...he was proud of Ian at UMass Lowell, Griff on the KP football team and Kate his little girl. He told of his many adventures on the quads with his good friend Liam thu the woods of Medfield and beyond in the dark! Christopher loved animals and I gave him permission to have Angus his cat who I always teased him by callin Angus "Fiona"...yup Fiona from the show Shameless...which Chris and I watched start to finish as well as many others. He called me "Lord of the Land" instead of the landlord to tease me back. Chris was a great cook and always made awesome meals for us. I told him he should be a chef at a restaurant. He loved German Shepherds. He always told stories of time spent with his father. He spoke of his beautiful sister in Florida and of course his dear Mother Rita. We had plans to visit Rita at the Villages in Florida...go on a quading adventure with Liam...fishing, dragracing and on and on. Christopher will be missed, but I'm going to try and focus on all the great times we had together. "Hey Hey"...I miss you little buddy... Godspeed my friend Christopher, I'm sure heavens gates are open for you.

Many transcendant times playing and sharing music with Chris through the decades. He was always a big part of the scene and will be terribly missed. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Chris started a birthday fundraiser for the National suicide prevention lifeline His goal was $200. He didn’t meet it. I am donating in his memory. Perhaps in this way we can help met that goal now.
