Dear Friedman Family, I am sure I am like so many people who can't think of my college experience without thinking of Paul. He was friendly, fun, gregarious, creative and very funny. He had lots of trademark sayings and made up lots of words and he liked to watch the impression his antics left on others. While I was never a close friend I knew enough to see when he was friends with someone he was a very good friend. I believe I still have in my possession a dance party mix tape that he created as part of his DJ business. His faith was important to him then and we sang at the Newman center folk masses. I am grateful that faith remained a part of his life. I am sorry for your loss and know firsthand that no matter what the situation we always want more time with those we love. I am glad you have each other to lean on at this time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Debbie

Paul and I grew up in Braintree Massachusetts. My relationship with Paul started in fifth grade.. Back in the day we were inseparable, Spending morning afternoons and evenings together with our families and friends. In high school Paul and I strengthen our relationship and became the best of friends. After graduating we attended the University of Massachusetts where we roomed together an eventually both met our wives to be.
Paul and I had a DJ business. Paul was an amazing entrepreneur and had a very strong work ethic. Paul and his family were also very instrumental in bringing faith back in my life and I will always owe a lifetime of gratitude to Paul and his mother Dolores for doing so..

As our lives went in different directions due to work, family and geographical location We always found a moment to recapture an amazing history that we could always laugh and smile about..

I personally regret not staying closer to Paul specially not knowing that he was suffering with a horrible disease. Together we went through it with his mother and I know how difficult that was for him and the entire family. I am happy now that they have been reunited together. I will always pray for them the rest of my life..
My dearest Paul may you rest in peace. Love, Stoney
