Mini garden meet with Lisa at Loretta's B&B

This is my story of my meet up with Lisa aka Pupupltr as this was her garden chat name (those of us who knew her really well call her Pu. I set out to meet up with my garden chat buds at Loretta's bed and breakfast, Rise and Shine Inn up in Monmouth Maine. My vehicle was equipped with a nav system but once I got near the lakes region it no longer would access normal roads. I ended up taking the wrong exit off the Maine Turnpike and set off going the opposite direction for about 20 miles. Finally realizing by signs that I was lost I stopped to ask an oil delivery man if he knew where Rise and Shine Inn was located. He gave me directions, they were as follows. Take the steep hill to the top and turn at the stone house, that road will take you down to Moose Run Road. Well I found the steep hill but all the houses were stone or brick. The little town that I was in was called Pergatory. I surely felt like I had travelled myself into the correct town. After an hour of going this way and that way I started laughing so hard my eyes were tearing and I had to pull over and wipe my face. I just couldnt believe I was living the Maine saying "You can't get theyah from heeyah". I finally was able to get a cell phone signal and called the Inn, everyone was so worried about me as I was over an hour late. And I had left my house in Falmouth Maine 45 minutes early. We had a wonderful lunch and explored the barns of the Inn, fantastic barns. Lisa climbed the extremely pitched stairs to join me. This was very difficult for her, but she was determined. We both hugged and hugged when she came up to the landing 3rd floor. We were so proud of her to get up there. We held hands and walked through the amazing barn and looked out over the fields to the lake in awe. We made the climb down and returned to the Inn to enjoy a nice glass of wine and laugh and chat for hours.
