Dear Joan and family, I am so sorry for your loss and the difficult time in front of you. Lou was a great friend and my mentor. Lou was the energy and face of the Center, so much so, the large hall was named after him, The Fellini Hall! This is a story about Lou and I. Many years ago when the building was nearing completion (~2007) Lou was in the hospital, the ICU I recall. There had been a big discussion about placement of the dumpsters at a construction meeting he missed. In order to get the dumpsters in the perfect location, I visited Lou and to get in to see him, I told the staff I was his daughter! Over the years when we would reminisce about the Center, he would always remind me of this. Lou was my rock and he will be missed by me and all that knew him.
